Welcome to The Walks

In my book Consider the Lilies I introduce the concept of Empty Spots.

When my son was a little boy he would come running to me and say, "Mom, I have empty spots." I would hold him to me - chest to chest - heart to heart - and he would be completely quiet, no mean feat for that one.  Slowly, after a few moments, he would sigh, give me his smile and go on his way.

The poem continues with the statement that I experienced an exchange of “something” that transformed us both. I found it to be a profound experience.

It is universal - we all have “empty spots” and I have found that the filling of our “empty spots” is a need all humans experience.  The Walks©, were originally designed as a way to more effectively fill those spots … and to assist in finding that place within where all healing occurs ...  healing of the body.... healing of the mind....  healing of the spirit.

For many years I have worked in the field of healing – healing of spirit, soul and body, I worked in pain and healing management using biofeedback, healing imagery, prayer and Therapeutic Touch.  I have trained hospice workers, and successfully worked with chronic pain and cancer patients.

Over time, I have been fortunate enough to create Walks that have allowed the person experiencing them to have a completely new and fulfilling way to reach deep within themselves to find their own spirit and then to touch the Spirit of the God who Created them.  This experience brings healing - the healing of mind, body and spirit. The whole person is renewed.

I have conducted workshops and have worked with people one-on-one with this approach. It has been amazingly successful and yet I have not reached the numbers of people that I had hoped.  This new approach will allow me to reach many more people with these new MP3 downloads of the Walks©, and to previde an experience that can be share with others.

I’ve led a fairly traditional life: wife, mother and Nana.  I have cherished friends.  I tend to work more than I play so I have a constant need for any or all of The Walks©, myself.  I am in good health having been blessed by surviving two bouts with cancer.  So here I am, reaching out to you in the hope that some of what I have learned over these many years will touch you in a beautiful, hopeful and positive way.  Please listen to each of the walks©, and share them with others. I hope that these quiet times will quickly and positively impact your life and the lives of all that they go on to touch as well.
